Why did you join DiUS?
It’s the people here, and the culture of a strong focus on quality.
What was your first coding experience?
I was probably 11 years old in an after-school computer group. I ‘coded’ on a computer using a programming language called Logo, all I remember is seeing a turtle drawing on the screen. I said ‘coded’ because all I did was copy the commands. As a kid who couldn’t read English, I wasn’t really sure what I was doing since I couldn’t understand the syntax.
However, my first real first coding experience came when I was in my first year as a student in university. It was intimidating at the beginning.
What inspired you to progress a career in tech?
When I understood software is really about humanity, it’s about helping people by using technology.
What do you enjoy most about your role?
Being able to learn from talented people, solving fun problems, and using new and exciting technologies.
What’s it like being a consultant?
Being consultant is about breaking down complex problems, and taking people around you on a journey of problem solving.
What are you most passionate about?
I am passionate about film photography and analog cameras.
